    Pre-ballet students are getting ready to start formal ballet training (as in barre, centre - a traditional class). They may or may not have some preschool/creative dance under their belt. They are usually in the 5-8 year-old range and to put it simply, I teach them the fundamentals of ballet technique - introducing concepts like turnout and port de bras, movements like plié and tendu, and basic skills like walks, waltz, sauté.

    As for how to do this or ideas for classes, books and blogs can (and have) been written on this subject alone. Not knowing your exact needs or experience, here are a few links and resources for tips and ideas:
